It’s a horror flick that will surely make you scream and puke. It starts back in 1969 when a Mexican couple went to a medium to help their son who stole jewelry from some Gypsies 3 days back and he was complaining that he was seeing and hearing things unworldly. The medium tried to help him out but to no avail, he was pulled down by evil hands and was never seen again. 40 years later, the same situation happened. It’s Christine Brown, a loan officer in a bank who found herself in the same situation. She was tasked to turn down the request of an old gypsy woman for mortgage. The old gypsy woman, Mrs. Ganush, was desperate and begs her but Christine started to panic and pushed her to the floor and was assisted out by the security guards.

Ben Stiller’s Character, Larry, is back for another awesome adventure. This time it involves the Smithsonian and he has to save his old pals from the Smithsonian and especially from Kahmunrah, an evil Pharaoh that actually proves to be a very entertaining character in the movie.
It involves the Museum of Natural History that was closed for renovation and upgrades and this is where the adventure begins. The stone tablet that has a magical force that makes the museum come alive has now brought to life other characters such as Al Capone, Amelia Earheart, Kahmunrah and General Custer. Another funny character here is the little Albert Einstein!
Larry started to develop romantic feelings for Amelia Earheart who is one of the main characters in the movie, and she helps out Larry in his quest to save his museum friends. The main battle happens when Kahmunrah captured Larry’s little friend, Jebediah Smith, who was trapped in a sand timer. In order to get his little friend back, he has to bring the stone tablet to Kahmunrah and give the combination. In the end he didn’t need to give the combination as Kahmunrah’s ally got it from the little Einstein and it was 3.141516!
Around the world, many immigrants want to come and be a part of the United States. Los Angeles, for instance, is said to be one of the most favorite city for immigrants. This movie deals with the immigration laws and enforcement in the country.
The movie has top actors in its cast including Harrison Ford who plays Max Brogan an Immigrant & Customs Enforcement Agent who gets to sympathize and feel for the people who he should be deporting for illegal immigration, Ray Liotta as Cole Frankle who abuses his position as the one who approves for green cards and had forced a model from Australia named Clair Shepard starred by Alice Eve to do things as a compromise and of course Ashley Judd as Denise Frankel who is a defense lawyer who had done some deportation including that of a family with a 15 years old child that had been accused to have some ties with terrorism and that of a family of an orphan.
I’ve been a Dragonball fan for many years and it got me so excited when I first found out that a Dragonball movie would be released in 2009. As much as I anticipated the movie, it really didn’t make me happy at all. First of all, Goku should be Japanese and it saddens me that an American actually starred as Goku! Justin Chatwin does not look like Goku at all and it just upsets a lot of Dragonball Goku fans.
The movie starts when Goku’s adoptive granddad, Gohan, is dying and requested Goku to seek out the 7 Dragon Balls before the great Master Roshi does. Goku already has 1 and he has to protect it with his dear life so that Master Roshi won’t ever get hold of it or else he would take over the world.
The Dragonball Evolution movie is quite good as long as you don’t think about the characters. It could have gotten better and there’s so much potential in this movie that millions of Dragonball fans would pay more just to get a very good movie that is worth the iconic Dragonball that we loved since we were young. Unfortunately, it can’t pass the taste of authentic Dragonball fans but still it’s a good movie to watch when you just want to pass the time and have some fun.
This movie is low budget but the cast is actually pretty good. I don’t know the casts very well as they are not so popular but they are a deserving cast but unfortunately, the movie just really isn’t that good at all. In fact, it’s just not good.
The plot for the movie is a bit overused but I think no matter how overused a plot is, as long as you know how to make your own mark with it then it would seem original. The movie is about a big bag of money which was unclaimed. 5 people’s lives were the main focus for the movie and how they will do things just to get the bag of money. Eventually, the fight for cash became deadly and they started to be greedy and doing terrible things just to get the money.
It’s like a game of who stands last. The person who stands last wins! Just in this case, those who lose actually lose their lives.
This is a vampire movie that does not follow with the traditional belief we have about vampires. It wants to go away from the usual and create a new version of how vampires come to be. Although vampires are indeed fiction but they want to make the vampires seem real with how they blend it in the story as if the vampires are from another dimension and they thrive by the blood of their victims so they can cross over into our realm.
In the story, the young artist named Sai was seduced by a foreigner to try a drug that has long been forgotten which is heated up and the fume is inhaled. Once inhaled, the person would suddenly turn into a blood hungry vampire. In the movie, you’d notice that they still depicted the vampire as seductive and captivating and mysterious and the other characters are quite attractive especially Sai which is played by Sarah Farooqui.
The movie is striving and you would appreciate the effort and the new idea that they wanted to set forth but something is lacking that makes it not the best vampire movie that it wants to be. First of all, there is lack of budget and you would notice this with how the movie was created. You’ll find flaws with the editing and it’s under the category of a cheap flick.
This is a great movie for all the shopaholics in the world who can truly relate to Rebecca Bloomwood who denies that she has a problem with shopping even with bad credit. Rebecca Bloomwood just can’t stop shopping and it’s really because of her past when she was a little girl and she only get discounted items from her mom who is a thrifty shopper. She envied her friends and her fascination for expensive clothes and branded stuff grew until it consumed her and left her with a big credit to pay.
She is a journalist who just lost her job and she ended up in a financing magazine with the man who gave him $20 that she needed to buy the green scarf whose mannequin convinced her to buy it. That’s really what happens in her mind every time she sees an item she really loves. She imagines mannequins talking to her like an excellent salesperson and she ends up buying stuff that she really doesn’t need.
A film you’d surely love to watch over and over again. It’s a beautifully comical animation about monsters on Earth fighting against the aliens who wanted to destroy the Earth!
It’s a fun movie especially with the character of Dr. Cockroach when Susan aka Ginormica first saw him and tried to splat him! Just FYI, it’s Hugh Laurie aka House who is the voice of Dr. Cockroach!
The story begins when something from outer space hits the Earth and hit Susan Murphy on her wedding day. While taking her vow, she suddenly turned green and became a gigantic woman. She was immediately taken to a secret compound where monsters like her are kept. Here she met Dr. Cockroach, B.O.B. and The Missing Link.
When Gallaxhar threatened to destroy the world, the U.S. President and the head of the secret compound discussed about letting the monsters fight Gallaxhar and that’s where their adventure began.
The Tornado! Several important artifacts had been stolen and the only thing that they found was a letter with the word “the tornado” written in it. That’s the name for a thief that plots on stealing all these artifacts and who do you run for help? Inspector Clouseau???
Basically, the movie is not as great as what it should be. It is just not my cup of tea, maybe, but for some it’s worth a laugh or two. The movie is basically a slapstick movie that could be fun at times and quite boring the next. Would you like to watch it again? Afraid not. It’s a comedy crime caper movie with some good names as its stars especially with Steve Martin playing the Inspector Clouseau character.
This is a story about the man named Leonard, portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix, and his romantic relationships between two women whom he met almost at the same time. The character of Leonard is a troubled man who lives with his parents in Brooklyn.
The two women are named Michelle, portrayed by the alluring Gwyneth Paltrow, and Sandra, portrayed by Vinessa Shaw. He met Sandra after a big dinner with his family as a way to introduce him to her. His parents wanted to set them up because Sandra’s family would soon be buying the dry cleaning business of Leonard’s family. Michelle, on the other hand, is a woman who is quite as troubled as Leonard is but there’s just this chemistry between them that seems to burst almost instantly as his eyes met hers. She’s their new neighbour and in the story, slowly the deep secret of Michelle is discovered. She actually lives in a unit that a married man actually pays for and that adds more to the ensemble.
