A movie that stars Grey’s Anatomy’s Katherine Heigl as a character named Abby who works as a producer and unfortunately is not very lucky in the romance department. Then there is the character of Gerard Butler, Mike Chadway who is a TV personality who promised his audience that he is going to spill all the ugly truths about what makes men & women tick. The two were teamed up by their boss and that’s when Abby is said to get an awakening.

The guy, Mike Chadway, is doing all sorts of antics so he could prove his theories about how men and women tick which eventually led to something else. Something that both of them did not expect at all.

Basically, this movie is another chick flick. Girlfriends should come and watch this film and have so much fun  while guys might get sleepy watching it. It’s a fun movie to watch but it’s nothing very special really. It’s just like any other chick flicks out there with heartwarming endings that is actually quite predictable since the start.

No spoilers here but it’s really a fun movie to watch. It’s not bad at all and Katherine Heigl is just outrageously beautiful in the film.

The 6th Harry Potter movie is once again phenomenal. It may not really compare to the plot on the book but it’s still not that disappointing. No spoilers here as it’s still shown on in cinemas around the world. The movie is pretty good and it makes you want to watch the final movie of the Harry Potter series as the ending for the Half Blood Prince makes you ask a lot of questions as to what would be next for the 3 wizards of Hogwarts.

Hermione is indeed looking more and more beautiful as she gets older while Harry Potter and Weasley’s cuteness start to fade but the humor in Weasley’s character never fades and the pureness of heart of Harry lingers. It’s too bad that one great character in this movie had died. If you have read the book you’ll know who it is but there’s a big reason why that character died here and you’ll learn about it on the 7th Harry Potter movie.

All in all the movie is good and a must-see especially if you’re a Harry Potter fan. If you haven’t watched the 5th Harry Potter movie then you may get lost a bit but you’ll still find yourself on track after a short while. The best character in this movie is the antagonist Bellatrix Lestrange portrayed by Helena Bonham Carter is just perfect. She made the role exactly as how she is to be portrayed.

Larry Charles’ Bruno

Did Sacha Baron Cohen do it again? His Borat movie was quite a success but with his new movie, Bruno, would he also get the same recognition? Well, watch the movie to find out. As it turns out the movie had reached the #1 at the box office for the week with $30.4 million and it beats Ice Age 3 and Transformers for the weak but then it’s popularity drops drastically and you may wonder why.

The reason is, you wouldn’t want to watch the movie again afterwards. The word of mouth is indeed absent as it doesn’t get much recommendation from those who had watched the film on its first day. Unfortunately the movie is very disappointing. It is not at all funny and it just gets irritating too.

Basically the movie stars Bruno who is a gay fashionmonger who went to the United States in a quest to become a star. Its trying to mock some personalities and it can get a bit humorous at times but it is incredibly unsuccessful in more ways than one. It’s like watching a movie with a gay character who just tries to run amuck with a storyline that doesn’t have much substance at all.

Another exciting adventure for Sam Witwicky (Shia Labeouf) as the decepticon forces had once again returned to Earth and wanted to hold him captive as he had learned the ancient truth about the origins of Transformers. Humankind was once again in harm’s way but thanks to the friendly Transformers led by Optimus Prime, the decepticons can’t quickly take over the world as Optimus Prime joined forces with the armies to fight against them.

The fight scenes are great and it’s really worth watching on cinema. For those who waited for Transformers after the 2007 film Transformers will not be dismayed. Shia LaBeouf is still as good looking as he was on the first film and Megan Fox is as hot as ever.

Optimus Prime in this movie had grown in size at the end part when he was brought back to life and it’s a must-see part of the movie. Who would’ve thought robots can also sacrifice themselves to save another robot and for the good of humanity?

All in all, it’s a perfect brew of action, drama, comedy and romance in just one movie. It will surely be a blockbuster as many more transformers fans line up at their local cinema to watch this awesome movie.

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen gets an A+ for special effects, script, music and design.

It’s a horror flick that will surely make you scream and puke. It starts back in 1969 when a Mexican couple went to a medium to help their son who stole jewelry from some Gypsies 3 days back and he was complaining that he was seeing and hearing things unworldly. The medium tried to help him out but to no avail, he was pulled down by evil hands and was never seen again. 40 years later, the same situation happened. It’s Christine Brown, a loan officer in a bank who found herself in the same situation. She was tasked to turn down the request of an old gypsy woman for mortgage. The old gypsy woman, Mrs. Ganush, was desperate and begs her but Christine started to panic and pushed her to the floor and was assisted out by the security guards.

Ben Stiller’s Character, Larry, is back for another awesome adventure. This time it involves the Smithsonian and he has to save his old pals from the Smithsonian and especially from Kahmunrah, an evil Pharaoh that actually proves to be a very entertaining character in the movie.

It involves the Museum of Natural History that was closed for renovation and upgrades and this is where the adventure begins. The stone tablet that has a magical force that makes the museum come alive has now brought to life other characters such as Al Capone, Amelia Earheart, Kahmunrah and General Custer. Another funny character here is the little Albert Einstein!

Larry started to develop romantic feelings for Amelia Earheart who is one of the main characters in the movie, and she helps out Larry in his quest to save his museum friends. The main battle happens when Kahmunrah captured Larry’s little friend, Jebediah Smith, who was trapped in a sand timer. In order to get his little friend back, he has to bring the stone tablet to Kahmunrah and give the combination. In the end he didn’t need to give the combination as Kahmunrah’s ally got it from the little Einstein and it was 3.141516!

Around the world, many immigrants want to come and be a part of the United States. Los Angeles, for instance, is said to be one of the most favorite city for immigrants. This movie deals with the immigration laws and enforcement in the country.

The movie has top actors in its cast including Harrison Ford who plays Max Brogan an Immigrant & Customs Enforcement Agent who gets to sympathize and feel for the people who he should be deporting for illegal immigration, Ray Liotta as Cole Frankle who abuses his position as the one who approves for green cards and had forced a model from Australia named Clair Shepard starred by Alice Eve to do things as a compromise and of course Ashley Judd as Denise Frankel who is a defense lawyer who had done some deportation including that of a family with a 15 years old child that had been accused to have some ties with terrorism and that of a family of an orphan.

I’ve been a Dragonball fan for many years and it got me so excited when I first found out that a Dragonball movie would be released in 2009. As much as I anticipated the movie, it really didn’t make me happy at all. First of all, Goku should be Japanese and it saddens me that an American actually starred as Goku! Justin Chatwin does not look like Goku at all and it just upsets a lot of Dragonball Goku fans.

The movie starts when Goku’s adoptive granddad, Gohan, is dying and requested Goku to seek out the 7 Dragon Balls before the great Master Roshi does. Goku already has 1 and he has to protect it with his dear life so that Master Roshi won’t ever get hold of it or else he would take over the world.

The Dragonball Evolution movie is quite good as long as you don’t think about the characters. It could have gotten better and there’s so much potential in this movie that millions of Dragonball fans would pay more just to get a very good movie that is worth the iconic Dragonball that we loved since we were young. Unfortunately, it can’t pass the taste of authentic Dragonball fans but still it’s a good movie to watch when you just want to pass the time and have some fun.

This movie is low budget but the cast is actually pretty good. I don’t know the casts very well as they are not so popular but they are a deserving cast but unfortunately, the movie just really isn’t that good at all. In fact, it’s just not good.

The plot for the movie is a bit overused but I think no matter how overused a plot is, as long as you know how to make your own mark with it then it would seem original. The movie is about a big bag of money which was unclaimed. 5 people’s lives were the main focus for the movie and how they will do things just to get the bag of money. Eventually, the fight for cash became deadly and they started to be greedy and doing terrible things just to get the money.

It’s like a game of who stands last. The person who stands last wins! Just in this case, those who lose actually lose their lives.
