I think that “Slum dog millionaire” will be in the first position for many more years. The film brought Bollywood to the mainstream in the UK by cleverly mixing bollywood dancing and a typicla love story with a gritty from rags to riches narrative. The inclusion of a UK actor and the show “Who wants to be a millionaire” made the piece appear even more UK focused.

I think that the 3 idiots was again a brilliant movie made my Mr Aamir Khan. All of his movies seem to turn out perfect, that is why he is known as Mr perfectionist in India. Recently he has started a show called Satya mev jayte which is a social program. He has tried to show the wrongdoers through the qualitative information just to make people of it. I think that he has taken a very good step. I applaud him for that.
